The James Landing communities are centrally located in Jamestown between Greensboro and High Point, North Carolina.
The communities and businesses in the James Landing area include Akela Cove, The Peninsula, Yorktown Pointe, The Highlands, Barrington Place, and commercial properties including Lowes Foods, Guilford Crossing retail stores, Childtime Daycare Center, CVS, Gold’s Gym fitness center, and Crowne Lake Apartments. Links to these communities can be found at left.
Originally, the property served as a Boy Scout Camp before becoming home to the James Landing communities. This is not hard to believe with the huge trees and picturesque scenes throughout the neighborhood.
The Property Owners Association
The Property Owners Association (POA) includes 5 Board Members. The POA is tasked with maintaining the quality and value of the community as well as keeping the owners and business members informed. The community is currently managed by Golden Property Management.
The POA is responsible for the upkeep of the sign(s) at Piedmont and Wendover, landscaping along Piedmont Parkway, and the upkeep of the ponds and dams between our neighborhood and the Crowne Lake Apartments.
